Famous was not good at explaining, and explaining without thought could cause issues. Even it couldn’t understand what it was talking about. Besides, its explanation may not make sense because history was a foregone conclusion.

Just when Famous was about to say something, Old Time Tea had a twinkle in its eyes and gestured to Famous to shut up.

Has the young man come back? If so, I should leave as soon as possible, Famous thought.

After it quieted down, Famous vaguely heard a faint call for help from the foot of the other side of the mountain.

“What happened?” Famous asked.

Old Time Tea said briefly, “It may be a robbery, I need to look!” Before it finished its sentence, it had been running towards the foot of the mountain.

Famous was stunned and felt like something bad was going to happen. Old Time Tea should have already left the mountain and encountered the robbery, but it was delayed because of Famous’ presence. Even though this timeline was not real, and this has already happened, Famous did not want to bring Old Time Tea more tragedy.

Swish! Swish!

Old Time Tea pushed aside weeds, dodged rocks, and leapt down the rugged mountain. It was anxious because the cry for help was getting weaker, apparently someone was caught in an extremely dangerous situation.

As a region that emphasized martial arts, Foshan was home to many martial arts masters. However, due to the current social turmoil, a lot of people were on the edge of starvation, and many of them were bandits. In addition to the Ming Dynasty and Qing Dynasty, Foshan was a free town and the local government had limited power, so it became a secret base for many underground groups, such as the “Heaven and Earth Society” and the “Hung League.” Although these organizations promoted “righteousness,” it was inevitable that there were some members up to no good.

The call for help at the foot of the mountain was sharp and thin, clearly the cry was from a woman. Once she was grabbed by the robbers, the consequences would be disastrous.

This unnamed mountain was covered with trees and bushes. It was mid-autumn and the weeds were as tall as half a human, so Old Time Tea was careful to avoid vipers and scorpions hidden among the weeds. Old Time Tea knew that it should focus on saving the person, but all of the strange things the dog said just kept running through its mind.

Suddenly, a black shadow blocked the moonlight and landed in front of it.

“Old Time Tea! Jump onto my back!” Famous turned its head and shouted, “Let me carry you down the mountain. It’s faster this way!”

Old Time Tea was not yet an elfin, it was just an ordinary cat who wasn’t good at running long-distances. In this respect, Famous was a lot stronger than Old Time Tea. Plus, Famous was taller, so it had the advantage of seeing more while running.

After a momentary hesitation, Old Time Tea leapt onto the back of Famous, raising its paw to point. “That way!”

There was no time for Old Time Tea to stick to etiquette when it came to rescuing people.

A rather peculiar scene appeared. On the mountain pass under the moonlight, a big German Shepherd was running with a Dragon Li cat on its back. Using one paw to hold onto the hair of the dog, the Dragon Li was using its other paw to direct the dog.

Old Time Tea was surprised to find that Famous seemed to have excellent jumping abilities. Even while carrying Old Time Tea, it could still leap over weeds and rocks, and land smoothly on the ground. The rugged way down the mountain was like a smooth road for Famous.

Whenever Famous went to jump, Old Time Tea could feel the muscles contract all over Famous’s body, especially the muscles in its two hind legs. When Famous leapt to the highest point, Old Time Tea felt like it was riding on mist and clouds.

The cry for help became very weak. Both Old Time Tea and Famous could hear a young woman sobbing. Since they were just a cat and a dog, they had to remain calm and observe the situation before making a move. Old Time Tea quietly leapt from Famous’ back, swiftly climbed a tree to sit on the branches, and looked forward.

The moonlight gave them good visibility. Just about twenty meters in front of the old tree, three masked men with knives were surrounding a disheveled young woman. Wearing a black robe, the young woman was leaning against a large rock, with her hand on her ankle. Her facial expression was distorted with pain, but she was looking at the three bandits with horror. Her voice had become hoarse from the screaming.

“Hey, girl, why are you running? We are not evil spirits. Look at you, your ankle is sprained because you ran too fast! Come on, take off your shoes and socks, let me give you a nice foot rub,” the leader of the three men said, wielding his steel knife.

“I’m begging you, let me go! If you want money, I have some on me. If it’s not enough, you can follow me home and I can give you some. I won’t report you as long as you don’t touch me.” The woman fumbled a few coins from her clothes, put them in her palm and begged.

“We want your money and you! Why don’t you become our wife ? When we launch an uprising, we will become the emperors of a new dynasty and you will become the empress! Ha-ha!”

The three masked men took turns teasing the poor woman, looking at her with evil and lustful eyes. They assumed that no one would come to rescue her in the wilderness in the middle of the night. Just like a game of cat-and-mouse, they were enjoying her fear. They planned to rape her until they tired of the game. Even if there were some bold passerby who wanted to save her, the bandits could easily scare them off with the knives in their hands.

Old Time Tea was furious. It had the intention to rescue the woman, but felt powerless. If Ye Wen were here, it would be so easy for the two of them to punish these bandits.

One of the masked men looked at the sky and said, “Brother, it is late. I think we should stop playing. As the saying goes, every minute of the wedding night is precious.”

The leader probably had enough of the game. Putting his steel knife back in its sheath, he rolled up his sleeves and said, “Brothers, keep a lookout for me! The girl is mine!”

“Big Brother, be gentle. Don’t make her half-dead like the girl last time, or elsewe won’t have any fun,” another masked man laughed.

Hearing this, the woman clenched her collar in horror and used the last of her strength to cry for help, “Help! Someone help me!”

Her voice was harsh in the silent night. Startled, a few owls in the nearby trees flew away.

“Girl, stop yelling. You made a poor choice running into a isolated mountain. No one will come to rescue you even scream!” The leader unbuttoned his belt slowly. He thought of this woman as his prey who had no chance of escaping.

There was no time for Old Time Tea to hesitate. It leapt to another tree nearby, roared, and pounced on the neck of the leader.

The leader was startled by the fierce howling, and felt something furry pounce on his neck.

There was a mass grave near this unnamed mountain, where ghost fire emerged at night, and no one dare approached. The local parents always used a variety of stories about zombies attacking to scare their children, so that their children wouldn’t run around at night.

As a local resident, the leader also heard of these stories growing up. He was not afraid of people or the police, but he was scared of ghosts and all kinds of supernatural things. When he heard the howling and felt something on his neck, he was so scared that he almost s**t himself. The first reaction in his mind was that a white-haired zombie came from the mass grave.

“Brothers, save me! It’s the white-haired zombie! The white-haired zombie is attacking me!” he shouted.

Old Time Tea knew too well that these bandits deserved to die for their outrageous behavior, so it attacked the leader ruthlessly. After biting his neck, it stuck out its claws and scratched him in the face.

The bandit felt his face being scratched by claws as sharp as steel hooks. “My eyes! My eyes!” he cried. The white moonlight turned red in his eyes.

The other two bandits were shocked and tried to escape. However, they had clearly seen that the thing lying on their big brother’s neck was not a white-haired zombie, but a Dragon Li cat, which was only slightly larger than an average Dragon Li.

One of the brothers waved his steel knife and shouted, “Brother, don’t be scared! It’s not a white-haired zombie, it’s a wildcat. Let me get rid of it for you, brother!”

The third brother quickly reminded him, “Brother, be careful not to cut our big brother!”

The leader was blind in one eye, while the other eye was stained red by his own blood. He pulled out his knife and waved it like a mad man. The two brothers tried to save him, but there was no way for them to get close to him.

“Brother! It’s a cat on your back, not a zombie!”

“Brother! Don’t move, we are trying to save you!”

After their continuous shouting, their big brother finally understood.

When the leader heard that it was a wildcat that had blinded him, the fear in his heart had turned into anger. He stood still and extended his arm towards his back, trying to grab Old Time Tea and throw it on a stone to kill it. Fortunately, Old Time Tea dodged his grabbing. It leapt from his neck to the area between his legs and scratched his crotch.

Closing his legs, the bandit was no longer able to clutch his knife. He knelt, covered his crotch, and let out a fierce scream. Panic-stricken, the two brothers couldn’t help, but whisper about how their big brother was screaming like a woman.

However, as the leader knelt, the second brother took the opportunity to wave his knife towards Old Time Tea.

While the woman was watching this bizarre scene, her sleeve was pulled by something.

She tilted her head to see a big German Shepherd biting her cuff and dragging her to the side.
