Almighty Summoner System

Chapter 183 - The Locust And The Target

The moment he saw the beggar-like man\'s hand transform into one that looked like from a monster itself, he already knew that they should immediately run.

However, things happened extremely fast and after he realized it, one of the monsters they sent was already dead.

His companion vomited a mouthful of blood due to the backlash of losing his summoned monster.

Seeing the miserable state of his companion, he no longer wasted any time as he directly ran away, abandoning the \'friend\' that he once swore to protect while they were adventuring.

However, no one can blame him. The opponent was, after all, a person from the Glorious Panda family.

Even if his \'friend\' did not know about it, he clearly knew the story behind them.

In fact, half the purpose of them getting planted as a spy was to use them in a future plan of getting rid of this family that always hinder\'s their plan.

Although their number was not even half of the Dark Guild\'s population, they are still a force to be reckoned with and each and every one of them are not to be underestimated.

It was mainly because of their Partial Transformation Skill that they are feared.

If only one person has a Skill, the Dark Guild would not really pay attention to them.

However, he heard that each member of the Glorious Panda family was actually a skill user. It was even the same Transformation Skill that boosted the combat ability of the Summoner, allowing them to practically Summoner\'s of the same level quite easily.

Another thing to note was that, the Glorious Panda Family only targeted the Dark Guild, they are like a locust that only targeted the Dark Guild and nothing else.

He also heard from one Dark Guild member that the leader of the Glorious Panda was also very strong, even stronger than the Dark Guild leader. Hence the reason why they have been hiding for years, away from the eyes of the Glorious Panda\'s family head.

The leader of the Dark Guild could only resort to schemes to try and eliminate the threat called the Glorious Panda before proceeding with the major plan.

However, it looks like even this plan will also fail.

The Glorious Panda are very united. If one of them knew that there are Dark Guild members around the city, then one could say that every one of the Glorious Panda already knew of the same matter.

"Haha, you can\'t escape!"

The beggar-like man laughed loudly as his figure bolted towards the escaping Dark Guild member.

In an instant, he caught up behind his back and without wasting much effort, he immediately slashed his back with his transformed arm.

Swoosh!

A gush of blood instantly appeared on the back of the Dark Guild members body before he stumbled forward clumsily.

The beggar-like man did not waste such opportunity as he pounced towards the man to deliver the finishing blow.

He directly separated his head from his body to make sure that he\'s already dead. He then ignored him and ran towards another direction to finish the man that vomited blood earlier.

He was a rank higher than the two Dark Guild members so the battle was fairly easy.

After he finished killing them, the beggar-like man\'s arm slowly returned to normal. At the same time, a head suddenly popped outside of his worn-out shirt.

It was a tiger monster, the monster that he used for the Partial Transformation Skill.

The beggar-like man then started walking away as if nothing in particular had happened.

Donning his panda mask, he walked drunkenly as he proceeded to move towards the next target\'s location.

After a few minutes he left, two people wearing the same mask suddenly appeared on the battlefield. They waved their hand and cleared the area of the battlefield to return them to their previous state. They then disappeared after doing their task.

The same scene could be seen happening all around the city. The Glorious Panda Family killed those who are proven to be Dark Guild members, no matter who or where they are.

One receptionist of the Adventurers Guild was even killed on the spot. She was killed without knowing who killed her. The killer disappeared right after she was killed.

In an instant, the Eagle City was in a state of chaos. However, the chaos was only felt by those who were involved. The normal citizens only felt that something was going on due to the unusual and eerie silence of the city, however they could not pinpoint what exactly had happened.

One after another, Dark Guild members were killed left and right.

At a dark place around the center of the Eagle City, a person could be seen smashing things on the wall after hearing the report.

"Bastards… How dare they ruin the plan just like that? We have already planted ourselves deeply for four years. How can we be discovered now that the plan was already in its initial phase?"

The servant not far from him bowed his head deeply towards the man. He then started reading one of the reports again.

"Master, this one information just arrived earlier. According to it, someone investigated the movements of the Dark Guild members yesterday. However, they only investigated the surface so our informant thought that it wasn\'t a big deal."

Hearing the report, the \'Master\' suddenly threw the cup he was holding towards the wall again.

"Kill that bastard immediately! He should be hanged for not reporting this kind of incident, he should feel lucky that he will die in an instant..." He ordered without batting an eye.

The servant bowed his head and just as he was about to turn around to follow the order, another servant actually barged in to report an urgent situation.

The servant looked at his Master and could only smile wryly.

"Master, it looks like we don\'t need to dirty our hands.. We have now lost contact with all of our informants no matter in which direction. We have completely become blind at this point…"
