Chapter 612 Bloodline of the Immemorial Phantom Dragon

Oddly, Qin Wushuang felt that the power of this cold was not that form of cold vital energy. Instead, it was a surging powerful presence belonging to the pond.

Qin Wushuang had a haze of doubts and suspicion as he thought with apprehension, "What’s going on down here?"

When he initiated his dantian to resist the presence, he discovered that his dantian, including all of his body’s blood vessels had welcomed this form of infiltrating power. It did not resist at all.

This made Qin Wushuang feel incredibly surprised. He never thought that his body would unexpectedly cater to this penetrating power. He was usually confident of his body’s condition. Initially, the two spiritual baptisms from the Supreme Dao lights had allowed his entire body’s skin, muscles and bones to be incredibly sensitive to touch. If some harmful presence was to charge in, it would surely generate resistance.

Since he did not have any resistance to this current power, there could only be one possibility: this power was not hostile towards his body and did not intend to harm his body. If this were the case, it would be impossible for his body to not show any resistance. On the contrary, it truly welcomed it.

Carried with this confusion, suddenly Qin Wushuang opened his eyes widely. His state of mind tensed up as he subconsciously initiated the Supreme Dao shield to place it before him.

A giant phantom dragon was rooting itself at the deepest level of the pond. Looking from a far distance, it seemed to appear like a blue statue. Ever since Qin Wushuang stepped onto the path of martial arts, he had never seen a spiritual beast with such a plump body. Of course, he was incredibly surprised.

However, when he looked at it closely, he saw that although the phantom dragon stood grounded there, it appeared motionless. Just like a little hill, it did not display any intent to attack Qin Wushuang.

Due to the serene water, Qin Wushuang could not see clearly. When he dove closer, he realized that this was only the body of the phantom dragon.

Although the body of this phantom dragon appeared fresh, it was clear that it did not possess the Primordial Spirit and soul. It was just a body.

It was no wonder that this fierce looking phantom dragon did not attack the outsiders. It was just a corpse.

Even with this fact in mind, Qin Wushuang still did not dare to let down his guard. As he looked at the phantom dragon, he would only approach after a moment of observation.

Indeed, the body of this phantom dragon was gigantic. As it entrenched itself around the bottom it was almost like a group of mountains. When Qin Wushuang swum next to it, he was as tiny as those small bugs who walk under the feet of an elephant.

"Good riddance." When Qin Wushuang watched for a moment, he clicked his tongue in awe. "Could this be the legendary Immemorial Phantom Dragon?"

Qin Wushuang was feeling somewhat shocked. This was the dragon clan, the true dragon race! The Immemorial Phantom Dragon was the true bloodline to the immemorial ancient spiritual beasts.

Qin Wushuang remembered Mu Rong Qianji’s mission and started to search the surroundings. This pond was not very big and although Qin Wushuang’s spiritual perception was restricted of searching too far, he still easily found two eggs that resembled the white jade underneath the giant dragon.

"Could these be the eggs bore by the Immemorial Phantom Dragon?" Qin Wushuang looked at the two eggs that appeared much larger than ordinary eggs with astonishment.

Through spiritual perception, Qin Wushuang discovered that these two giant eggs truly contained powerful vitality.

Although these two giant eggs were not fertile and perhaps would never be, Qin Wushuang was still incredibly surprised. He looked up at the bones of the giant dragon and thought, "I just don’t know how long this Immemorial Phantom Dragon has been dead for, as it left such offspring. Indeed, the dragon race is different than ordinary races."

Without thinking too much, he put the two giant eggs away into the storage ring. After this, he wandered around and only swam back up after verifying that no other suspicious objects were left in the pond.

Hu la!

Among the lights, Qin Wushuang dashed out of the water and jumped out of the pond. He found a quiet corner and sat down to initiate his spiritual Qi through his entire body. He began to dispel the cold air from his body. Now, Qin Wushuang realized that within his blood vessels, a strange presence had appeared.

"Hm? This blue line in my blood vessels, what is it?" Just as Qin Wushuang was feeling surprised, bursts of strange blue lights had emitted from the surface of his body!

As this blue light emerged, it was as if a layer of faint crystal was attached to his skin’s surface. When he looked closely, this layer of blue light was unexpectedly like a layer of scales that were intermittently visible on Qin Wushuang’s body.

Qin Wushuang extended his hands and saw that it had malevolent claws like those of a dragon. The sharpness of them even made him feel frightened.

This dragon claw, just when Qin Wushuang hesitated, disappeared. Through such uninterrupted changes, one after the other, Qin Wushuang realized that these dragon scales and dragon claws had changed along with his thoughts. It meant that after gaining some control of them, he could receive and send them out at will!

"What’s going on? Could it be that inside that serene pond the bloodline of the Immemorial Phantom Dragon had imperceptible influence on me and assimilated me into the dragon race?"

Qin Wushuang had travelled from the twentieth-century. In terms of genes, it was possible to have genes between races influence each other to the extent that they generate a mutation.

For the Tian Xuan Land, the law of ’survival of the fittest’ was much more clear-cut than his previous world. If the bloodline of the Immemorial Phantom Dragon was stronger than Qin Wushuang’s bloodline, it was possible to change his bloodline.

However, after Qin Wushuang’s head was spinning with thoughts, he realized he was overthinking the matter as clearly, his own bloodline still dominated.

The bloodline of the phantom dragon had merged into his own, bringing with it some sort of extreme ancient immemorial presence. His original presence, however, was not swallowed.

This was something Qin Wushuang was unwilling to see. If his bloodline was fully assimilated with the bloodline of the Immemorial Phantom Dragon, then he would be depressed. In the end, he held great acknowledgment and pride for his human bloodline. If he had suddenly turned into the dragon clan and lost his own self, he would surely feel extremely depressed.

Fortunately, such matter did not happen.

The bloodline of the Immemorial Phantom Dragon brought with it some unexpected gains. For example, he had acquired their scales that were on par to the defense of the Immemorial Phantom Dragon and the dragon claw, which was capable of tearing apart the sky. All of these were unexpected gains that accompanied the bloodline of the phantom dragon.

After spending one full week, Qin Wushuang had finally merged and could control the bloodline of the phantom dragon completely. After the complete merge, one could not see a single trace of the Immemorial Phantom Dragon from Qin Wushuang’s appearance. Unless he initiated the bloodline and unleash the skills of the dragon race, the presence of his bloodline would be the same as any other time.

Qin Wushuang took another tour of the courtyard, but did not get any goods. He shook his head with a bitter smile and reminded himself to not be too greedy.

It was because he heard that the dragon race was a race that loved to collect treasures. He thought that since this Immemorial Phantom Dragon was powerful, he should also have such hobby?

Although he did not gain anything after looking around, Qin Wushuang was not depressed. It was already an unexpected treasure when he found the bloodline of the phantom dragon.

At least, he could have justice at the Floating Snow House.

Since he had not taken anything at the pond, Qin Wushuang had discovered the Supreme Dao combat blade left behind by Yan Zhuiyang when he returned to the courtyard.

This was an unexpected joy. Of course, Qin Wushuang did not hold back and took it as his own. He had done it without feeling any guilt. If he was killed by the other party, for someone like Yan Zhuiyang, he would absolutely not hold himself back from the things he would leave behind. Surely he would take them as his own.

From this trip, not only did he kill two strong enemies such as Lei Jiao and Yan Zhuiyang, he also gained a lot of extra advantages. Naturally, Qin Wushuang was greatly satisfied.

He returned through the original path. In a moment, he saw again the Coiling Dragon Palace Hall from the blood colored abyss. As Qin Wushuang looked at the two bridges, he felt incredibly lucky.

If he had chose to walk on that bridge, regardless of which one he took, most likely there would’ve been only one result.

While Qin Wushuang felt lucky, he also felt strange. Why did there seem to be a voice directing him from the bottom of his heart?

Could this be his subconsciousness?

Qin Wushuang remained puzzled after pondering over this for a hundred times. Inwardly, he thought that perhaps everything was related to that Seven Deadly Arrays Formation? Thinking of how he had received two spiritual baptisms from the Seven Deadly Arrays Formation, it would not be too hard to accept the fact that he possessed some unique traits.

Thinking here, Qin Wushuang felt relieved.

Without thinking further, he walked out of the Coiling Dragon Palace Hall and passed the prohibition mechanism set up by the nine great pillars. Now, two of the nine pillars had collapsed and the disordered currents were not as powerful as before. With the Supreme Dao shield opening the path for him, Qin Wushuang walked out of the disordered currents with ease.

Now, Qin Wushuang was more worried that if the space of this Coiling Dragon Palace Hall had existed independent to the Black Dead Sea, he was afraid that it would take him some efforts to get out of this hall.

He returned from the original way and arrived at that exit. Indeed, Qin Wushuang encountered a space barrier. However, this Coiling Dragon Palace Hall was an independent space to the Black Dead Sea for one could not see it with the naked eye. When he was inside the Coiling Dragon Palace Hall, it was as if he was within a primal chaos. It was easier to get out, on the contrary.

After getting out, it would depend on one’s luck if you wished to enter again. After all, in the Black Dead Sea, it was impossible to see the Coiling Dragon Palace Hall with the naked eye.

Outsiders could only enter when the outer space of the Coiling Dragon Palace Hall opened the door on its own.

Initially, Yan Zhuiyang had bumped into the outside barrier of the Coiling Dragon Palace Hall and had allowed the space to open the door on its own. Because of this, everything thing else in his fortune was made possible.

After he got out of the Coiling Dragon Palace Hall, Qin Wushuang found it much easier. Although there was the water pressure of the 1500 metre area, Qin Wushuang had the protection of the Supreme Dao shield. Although he still struggled, there were no mortal danger. Soon he arrived close to the 1200 metre water area and regrouped with his sealed spiritual beasts.

The sealed spiritual beasts obeyed Qin Wushuang’s orders and had set up an ambush and blockade in the nearby area. When they were resisting the 1200 metre area’s water pressure, they had also wasted a lot of spiritual Qi.

If Qin Wushuang took too long to return, it would work to their great disadvantage. Therefore, each of them were extremely happy and were spirited when they saw that Qin Wushuang had returned safely!
