Chapter 90 New Source Of Experience

\'Become one with the environment, move with the notion. \' Dan already knew the meaning of the first sentence from previous training, and by observing Raydon, he is now beginning to understand the second sentence.

While Dan was completely focused and not allowing anything to distract him, unbeknownst to him, a black number 0 slowly began to appear on the back of his hand.

Meanwhile, Dan and Rayn were watching as Raydon continued his slaughter of the army of monsters, he was grinning as if he were trying hard not to laugh.

\'\'As I really thought," Raydon exclaimed with joy.

He was happy not because he killed monsters, but because of the system message that came with each monster he killed.

[Lv.1 Weakened Fallen Soldier(F-Rank) has been killed.]

[You gained 10 experiences.]

\'\'Hahaha, they really give experience. These must be the failed subjects of that item holder. \'\'

When Raydon first arrived here a few days ago, he was aware that the item holder was the one who had created these monsters, but he wasn\'t sure if killing them would give him experience. But now he was certain that these things had become a part of the system because the system materials had been used to turn these people into monsters.

\'These monsters seem to be a result of the side effect of a body enchantment. I wonder if that item holder is attempting to craft a body enchantment for himself and then testing it on his subjects. \'

Raydon pondered. He could only guess with so little information at the moment because he didn\'t know much about item crafting.

Raydon noticed that the number of monsters had decreased significantly as he continued to think and kill. After a while, he came to a halt, severing the head of the last monster as well.

[Lv.1 Weakened Fallen Soldier(F-Rank) has been killed.]

[You gained 10 experiences.]

\'\'I killed 468 fallen soldiers in total, huh? I wonder if there are any more. \'\' Raydon began to think as he looked around. He had gained 4,680 experience points in less than half an hour, which was the most he had ever gained in a single action.

\'\'I believe there is more inside the settlement; I shouldn\'t waste the experience points.\'\' Raydon began to make his way toward the ruined houses. He was determined to obtain every possible experience point.

[Lv.1 Weakened Fallen Soldier(F-Rank) has been killed.]

[You gained 10 experiences.]

Raydon laughed as he looked at the last fallen soldier, who had collapsed in front of him with its head severed.

\'\'Good, I earned a total of 6740 experience points with this one.\'\'  Raydon worked for another hour, bringing the total number of kills to 674.

He wiped the blood from his sword and placed it in his dimensional storage before gazing out into the night.

\'\'Fortunately, this isn\'t enough to keep me entertained. The real fun begins now.\'\' Raydon\'s face once more wore that twisted smile before he swiftly vanished into the darkness.

\'\'What do you want? Don\'t you see that I\'m busy? \'\' Herman spoke as he turned to face the burly man who was kneeling in front of his lab door.

\'\'Master, I\'m sorry for the inconvenience, but we heard some gun shoot noises from the test subject\'s area. \'\'

Herman snapped after giving the burly man a grimaced look. \'\'Did you really bother me for something so trivial? \'\'

"But master, you said we need to let you know right away if anything suspicious happens. "

With a sigh, Herman said. \'\'Probably one of the neighborhood gangs is stirring up trouble once more. I believe they are all dead by now in the hands of failed subjects, but just to be sure, go check it out, find out which gang they belong to, and bring them all here. I was already out of fresh subjects. \'\'

Herman was used to being in this situation. There were gangs passing through occasionally who ignored the rumor that there was an item holder here and instead chose to investigate and, if possible, take control of the area and incorporate it into their own lands.

\'\'Yes master. \'\' Burly man said and was about to go outside when Herman called to him.

\'\'Wait. \'\'

Herman spoke to a figure slightly behind him who was completely covered in black clothing, including its face.

"Go with him; I don\'t want any disturbances, and I really need more test subjects right now,"

\'\'Yes, master.\'\'

This person said this in an emotionless tone and walked towards the burly man, and the two of them left the laboratory together.

Herman muttered as he rolled his eyes. \'\'They can\'t even handle something so simple. Now I need to find smarter subordinates. These failed fallen soldiers are causing me additional problems. \'\'

When the Burly man emerged from Herman\'s lab, he informed the group of ten people waiting for him downstairs.

\'\'Master instructed us to go find them and bring them in as test subjects. Try to get them alive. \'\'

\'\'Yes, sir.\'\'

The men responded right away with discipline. As they gazed upon the burly man, fear filled their eyes. In addition to his bulky and muscular build, his dry and discolored skin gave the impression that he was a monster rather than a human. Additionally, the gaping wound in the middle of his forehead caused one to wonder how he was still alive.

They did not even dare to look at the figure in a black robe that was approaching from behind the burly man. They were aware that this person served Herman and was constantly by his side. Even though they had never seen his face or witnessed its power, they were still terrified by his mere presence.

They were aware that the boss they worked for was an item holder, and that the two people in front of them were his test subjects. Therefore, they had to follow the instructions even though they were afraid.

The men stepped aside, letting the burly man and the person in the black robes pass first, and then they followed behind. They were tasked with looking into the noise coming from the location of the failed subjects, tracking down the culprits, and returning them to Herman for fresh subjects.
