Tales Of The Mighty Dragonair

Chapter 1046 Prison World War - Part 14

After all, Arthur was keen to show his enemies his inability to absorb the green fire like before. Despite his ability to do so, yet he acted like he couldn\'t on purpose.

During the next five hours, that prison thing came closer to him to be seen clearly from his position.

As Gege described it before, it was a gigantic sphere of weird metal that was a mixture of grayness and greeness, with flicks of dark red energy flashing around it.

Its surface had strange dark dots seen from far. But when it came closer, Arthur realized they weren\'t dots but spear shaped protrusions with spherical ends that were made out of black ore.

It gave Arthur the impression of danger, but he calmed himself down.

The first thing he did was to step forward and charge at this gigantic sphere. The closer he got, the more awed he became.

It was like a small planet from close up. Seeing such a prison with his eyes made Arthur sign in amazement and admiration.

No matter what, he had to say this thing seemed more advanced and weird than the civilizations spread all over the universe.

Even back in his cultivation world, Arthur doubted something gigantic like this could be ever constructed.

And that made him wonder about the origin of this prison, the origin of these cursed flowers, the origin behind the disaster that struck this universe before and turned the indegenous originals into world\'s wills, and even starting a brutal massacre between the two sides.

Once getting close enough, Arthur stopped. He knew he got close enough when many of those spherical spears glowed in weird ways.

He could clearly see wisps of greenish and grayish energies coming from the two lands and falling onto these things.

That meant this prison was charging up, and the target would be himself and the little troops he had behind.

"Make sure everyone is ready to move behind me when I give the signal," Arthur said in low tone before adding with a serious look over his face, "and tell that necromancer that his wish is coming to light soon."

\'What about the armies from outside?\' Gege was still thinking about bringing reinforcements here, \'shall I bring them here?\'

"Not yet," And Arthur\'s answer was the same as usual.

Arthur didn\'t wait to get hit. He knew this attack would be brutal. The next moment he decided to use his tortoise technique once again.

If not for the necromancer that was behind him, he would rather prefer to use the black dragon scale technique. In terms of defense, the black dragon scale technique was superior.

\'Take the necromancer inside the garden world now!\' As he didn\'t have enough confidence in dealing with this attack if it extended to others, he had to recall everyone back for now. \'Also take everyone back.\'

\'Into the other side?\' Gege asked.

\'Just inside the garden world… Hurry!\'

The flash of lights around the prison became brighter with each passing second. At the same time, thousands or even tens of thousands of these spear-like protrusions kept shining and emitting dangerous lights from their spherical ends.

This attack seemed to be brutal and enough to threaten Arthur\'s defense. Yet he knew if he sustained it, he would be superior in the upcoming fight.

Gege didn\'t hesitate to execute his orders. As she summoned portals, she noticed the pressure over them increased as if the entire world around was brimming with the berserk green fire.

But she managed to take everyone back, just in time when the attack was launched from that metal behemoth in front of Arthur.

The moment the attack started, Arthur felt like the entire gigantic prison sphere turned all shiny and bright, just like a star detonating in front of his face.

He knew his earlier decision to recall everyone was right. That attack wasn\'t only directed at him, but it moved in a broad area that covered almost the size of that metallic behemoth.

Arthur didn\'t dare to expand his shield away from his body. The attack moved at the speed of light and landed over him in a fraction of a second.

What he felt this time was like meeting up with a brutal force. His body was slammed heavily and sent flying backwards, traveling tens of miles away in mere blinks of an eye.

Yet he didn\'t panic. Even with all this concentrated and brutal attack Arthur felt the might in this attack wasn\'t as severe compared with that greenish tornado from before.

This had an explanation. This attack wasn\'t designed to face a single foe, but a grand army at one point. As Arthur realized this, he felt blessed to have Gege and her portals at his side.

If not for the timely retreat of his forces, he doubted his ability to defend them against such an attack. He had to be frank with himself here. Even if his tortoise shell defensive power was above the might of this attack, the dangerous part here wasn\'t in the force itself, but in the momentum it caused after it hit.

If he left his forces present behind him, they would be pushed away and scatter further than his technique\'s reach.

At first he would be able to defend even a grand army of his own forces. But once got separated from his forces, they would be doomed!

The attack lasted for over an hour, perhaps it followed the same rules as the tornados from before. During this hour, Gege kept transmitting reports about what changed in the world around.

As Arthur expected, such an attack didn\'t come without a grave price to pay. The amount of the greenish and grayish energies inside the two worlds were getting thinner during the attack.

But Arthur didn\'t intend to let his enemies go, not this easily.

\'Bring the necromancer out, now!\' Just before the hour passed, and before the attack would vanish, he said in a serious tone to Gege.
